Conversations with Joe and Will at The Tate Britain
A sonic time capsule from a visit to Tate Britain with two close friends. I recorded parts of the exhibition — but more importantly, fragments of our conversation as we wandered through the space.
This track captures the warmth of those moments: trying to make sense of art together, laughing, reflecting, just being.

Hit The Fucking Chicane EP
I don’t know much music theory, and trying to force it often makes my ideas feel rigid. So, for this track, I took a different approach—no structure, just my MPK mini and some synths, playing around until something clicked. That’s how I found the whining lead; it instantly reminded me of an F1 car. I started at 120 BPM, but it didn’t feel right until I pushed it to 140, and suddenly, the rush hit. The thumping bass followed, then the vocal, and the whole theme—speed, energy, chaos—fell into place. This project was a lesson in trusting instinct over overthinking.
"Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking, just as the man who spends too much time in the theatre is tempted to be content with living vicariously instead of living his own life." - Einstein

A Fine Line
I was toying around with some synths and was drawn to, what became, the main component to the song - an unstable, arpeggiated, slightly chaotic piano loop. I fleshed it out to this simple experimental house track. You may be curious about how the cover came to be - well, as someone who has synesthesia, apart from days of the week being associated with colour, music and sounds often provoke strong feelings of colours and textures. When hearing this song, I felt a strong association to light colours of green, blue and yellow. With that in mind, I utilised oil, paint and water to try and capture the emotion - which is what you see in the cover.

POSTMAN
"POSTMAN" is an attempt to create a more classic house track whilst still maintaining a typical Daedalus, The Innovator, experimental tone to it. It using a strong vocal lead sample.
"Art is how we decorate space, music is how we decorate time." - Jean-Michel-Basquiat

Jaded
"Jaded" is about contrasts—the tension between high-energy beats and moments of introspection. It’s a track that leans into the push and pull of ambition and doubt, of vibrance and melancholy. The thundering basslines reflect the drive to move forward, while the stiller, softer moments capture that fleeting sadness, those pauses where you’re forced to reflect. It’s not just about creating a track that moves people physically but crafting something that resonates emotionally, digging into the complexity of feeling stuck, striving, and growing. For me, it’s a reminder that growth isn’t always clean, but it’s always human.

An Ethereal Eve Walking To Holloway Road
While leaving my friend’s house for dinner, I made my way to Holloway Road station and noticed an unusually quiet, ethereal atmosphere in London. I wanted to capture this feeling, as I enjoy the challenge of expressing emotions, moods, and atmospheres through music.

KING
About a year ago, I experienced a surge of self-confidence that inspired me to fully commit to exploring my creativity. This mindset shift continues to motivate me today. Fueled by this energy, I created ‘KING,’ a high-energy, gritty house track, which attempts to capture the essence of this mindset.
"If the artist did not know his goal, even the most miraculous of tools could not find it for him." - The city and the stars, Arthur C. Clarke

Echoes of my Youth
My South Asian heritage is something I am growing to appreciate more as I age. For this track, I sampled an old recording of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, a sound that often filled my grandparents’ house. The cover art is a quick sketch of my grandparents and I. (This is also on my YouTube).

Breakfast In Lisboa (Por Causa De Você, Menina edit, Unmastered)
While traveling through Lisbon with a good friend last year, we had breakfast at a charming café on the vibrant streets of the city. They were playing ‘Por Causa De Você, Menina’ by Jorge Ben Jor in the background. I knew immediately that if I ever learned music production, I would want to sample this song for a house track. I love this song so much!
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle

Sardaukar Chant (Sampled Tech House Mix, Unmastered)
I’m a big fan of Dune and was captivated by the throat singing from the Sardaukar scene. Inspired, I challenged myself to sample this unique sound, along with the iconic sand thumper, for a house beat. As I’m still learning music production, the track remains unmastered for now.
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle." - Plato

That One Studio Session (Remix, Unmastered)
I often revisit ‘That One Studio Session’ with Asap Rocky, Lil Yachty, FKA Twigs, and Murda Beatz. Unfortunately, it seems like it will never be released. With that in mind, I decided to mix up a house beat that samples a lot of the freestyle.
I also painted a cover in my abstract/surreal style. I hope you enjoy it! :)
